Jazz vocalist Naomi E. Kennedy trained and worked as a music therapist in nursing homes and hospitals. She performed in jazz bands in restaurants and clubs and was classically trained as a pianist and guitarist (by student of Segovia).
     In 1997 she started her career as a professional visual artist. It is at this time that she also began her career as an art teacher combining her knowledge of music with art.
     In 2005-2007 worked as a duo with Nathaniel "Papahawk" Goldberg, in restaurants, cafes, and private parties.
     December 2009 to present started performing in cafes, restaurants, and private parties, in the "Artsongjazz" band.
    
 
 
 
      Keyboardist Dov Dixler, performing for over 26 years in Orange/Rockland County, NY region at restaurants, clubs, weddings, private parties, and senior citizen groups.

    Tenor Saxophonist Cosmo Policriti began his musical career at age 9 studying clarinet. In 1977, he made the transition to tenor saxophone utilizing the skills he developed on the clarinet.
     During his college years, he performed with the SUNY Purchase big band jazz ensemble led by the renowned Phil Miller and also participated in various jazz improvisation clinics.
     For several years he studied with jazz saxophonist Peter DeLuke who was a disciple of Stan Getz.
     Over the last 20 years, Cosmo has performed in various musical venues including wedding bands, club gigs with the band White Collar Crime, and the Big Chuches, which included the legendary vocalist Vito Vendola.
     December 2010 to present performing in cafes, restaurants, and private parties, in the "Artsongjazz" band.
 
 
 
     
 
 
 
 
 
 
     Drummer Joe Welsh, first began playing drums in high school in both marching and concert bands. He was a member of a pop quartet made up of other teen-aged string band members who played everything from polkas to Broadway tunes to rock n' roll and performed with the Trilby String Band in Philadelphia.
     Joe joined the army in ‘66 and was accepted into the ASA Band at Ft. Devens, MA with  the marching/concert band and 
a swing band.
     In 1973 he played in two bands and did some music theater work for the MWR in Germany. 
     Joe was the drummer in a jazz quintet in Concord, NH, and in the Midnight Blues Band in October of ‘07.
     In August 2011 he started performing in cafes, restaurants, and private parties, in the  "Artsongjazz" band.
 
 
     Bass Player Shane Bordeau studied jazz at Ithaca College and Columbia University and has performed in New York City and Chicago.  
     Having studied under Steve Brown and Bert Konowitz, Shane has played with musicians such as Billy Taylor, Alicia Svigals, Eric Alexander, Ray Coyle, and the Teacher's College Resident Improvisation Ensemble.
     Currently a studio musician and educator he teaches in Cold Spring, NY.  In September 2011, he started performing in cafes, restaurants, and private parties in the "Artsongjazz" band.
